Description
Ajvar is a pepper-based condiment made principally from red bell peppers and oil. Ajvar is used in Southeast Europe in Serbian Bosnian Bulgarian Croatian Macedonian Montenegrin Albanian and to a small degree the Slovenian cuisine.
Serve as a dip with crusty bread crackers or raw vegetables. Use as a sandwich spread alone or mixed with vegan mayo. Use anywhere you’d use ketchup–on roasted potatoes is particularly good. Stir into warm pasta
